I’d venture to guess that she’s smoking pot for similar reasons you ride the bike. It’s her escape from something that she doesn’t like. For the hour or whatever she is high, she isn’t thinking about her friends in NY or whatever she misses. That’s partially why I did it when I started in high school, but I was dealing with a whole lot more than she is, lol.
