Yeah…I don’t know exactly when they changed the law…but bunch of guys I work with all have their permit and talked me into getting one. They just made it way harder to get it since the law has changed. ---

All nys pistol permits are CC, but with restrictions for target,hunting, hiking…etc. Alot of people who CC dont have full unrestricted permints in NY . ---

This is correct, but Greg is also correct. You cannot get in any legal trouble for carrying with a restricted permit. It’s a grey area. Worse they can do is revoke it. It’s all about not being a moron while carrying. Noone should ever know you have it on you anyways (sans Police during a traffic stop). Anyone who says getting a CC permit in NYS is easy is out of there Fing mind. ---

Man with all this gun talk I want to know more information on it. Here is what I am worried about. People who have legal guns, dont sound like they know 110% the law, and the constraints they must stay inside. That worries me… but again i am not into guns, yet, so i am not sure myself. Reason i say this is that if you “think” you are legal and can kill some person and have no reprecusions, that seems shady. If I want to be safe and carry a gun, I want to be damn sure I can do what I can do. I need more facts, I would like to know more information I guess. I am gun ignorant I guess, thats not good. ---

Police do not protect you from crime; they usually just investigate the crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean upthe mess.
