life is better with home networking
do yourself a favor if u want the ultimate in entertainment with networking
get a modded xbox, get xbox media center
hook it up to your tv, surround sound, network and stream movies over it, you will be in heaven

ii stream all my shit over my 360 all u need is media center and the media center extention

just a quick question… I noticed that it would only let me share a folder. Is there a way to share a partition? Or is mapping a shared folder the only way to go about that?
it also wouldnt let me share a folder from my client computer with the server machine (when I tried accessing the client thru the server, it said I didn’t have admin priviliges or something and to contact the network admin , even though I’m logged on both machines as an admin and setup the proper folders to share… is it only a one way street, so to speak?)

Open up my computer and I am pretty sure you can right click on a partition and either go to sharing or properties and click on a sharing tab.
