Low $100’s for the old models used to ~$300 for the brand new ones and plenty varieties in between.
My video was done on the original, which I’ve gotten rid of and now I’m thinking of maybe getting back into it for some epic motard vids. :excited

I bought the hdhero at ems comes with a helmet mount a head strap and various other sticky mounts it was 300 but if you have a college id kicking around you get 15% off so its under 300 after tax

Yeah the mounting ideas are pretty much endless. Last weekend I attached it to a 3 year old kid while he was running around picking up Easter eggs in the yard. Also mounted it to a razor scooter for some sick footage.

I have to mail mine back to get fixed. Bought it in August of 11 so its still under warranty. The battery isnt connecting properly so it doesnt turn on and when it does if it gets jarred it shuts off. They said to mail it back to them and theyll either fix it or send me a new one. So the customer service is pretty awesome too. I just need to find my receipt but I think I threw it out. I’m hoping EMS will be able to print up a new one since I know which day I bought it on. If not I have to email them again to see if they can accept it with no receipt at all.

A friend of mine has the Hero 1 and the SD card holder wouldnt latch the card in, so I replaced the card holder, what a pain in the ass to unscrew the lens assembly inside. Other then that they are very easy to fix.

So where are some good mounting points for in car shots? Was messing around with mine today and it seems im pretty fucked. Suction cup wont stick to the dash. Could do the drivers window, but having it next to me like that drives me nuts.
Was thinking the suction cup on the sunroof would be a good spot, but it’d be upside down, any editing software where I could flip the video? What software should I get in general.

There should be an option to flip the display on the GoPro…atleast my Hero2 has that. So if you mount it upside down, the video comes out right.

Oh yeah, I dont doubt it. Seen it in some crazy videos. But just cringe at the fact oh hanging a $200+ tiny little piece off the car at 100+

That suction cup has been known to peel spray paint even after it cures. If you do it right, it will stick.
Got my hands on a GoPro today from a friend, will get some hooligan motored vids :ninja
