Ok boys and girls, on July 20th, 2008 we will be having the biggest Shift518 event to date. We said that about the April meet to kickoff the season, but this one will be bigger. A lot bigger. There will be fireworks, strippers, and a flag burning. Ok, maybe that second part was a lie. This event, like the last one will be held in the historic part of Schenectady known as Central Park. Vlad is going to talk with the park manager about getting the pavilion which means a bigger grill for anyone who’s hungry. DATE: July 20th, 2008. (Sunday) TIME: 11am… Sharp. PLACE: Central Park Pavilion, Schenectady. Hopefully weather plays along, event is **NOT** Rain or shine. I’ll try to come up with some activities to keep everybody entertained as well, besides bashing Travis. - Come with clean cars as there will be photos of the event - Possibly RC cars contest (I’ll talk it over with the park manager) - …? ---
