Most guys into Honda’s are using polyurethane in the two shifter bushings, instead of the stock rubber ones. I don’t necessarily like it, because once poly compresses enough it no longer has a shape memory, leading to slop much faster than a rubber one would. I personally use a set of custom machined bushings made out of delrin, a super tough plastic/resin. Pretty much indestructible, teflon impregnated, and dirt cheap. All the above applies to hydraulic trans only, since they use bushings for each shifter rod (there are two). Cable applications might benefit, since the stock pivot is shitty. ---

Why not metal on metal? I have a set of aluminum ones in my RSX, they made a significant difference. also have a set that replaces the rubber under the shift box with aluminum as well. ---

why? it gives way better feel, so you are less likely to miss-shift. I would highly recommend it. ---

I dunno about hondas but on the dsms, skateboard/rollerblade bearings press right in with a little use a file and a vise. ---
