I think that the computer is priced really reasonably. I’d pay $3000 for it even though it’s used. You guys are just cheap. ---

I’m in the process of trying to sell my car, and have been pondering over the price as to how much I can sell it for while being reasonable. In the interest of fariness and testing this system out, I wanted to get the opinions of you guys here as to how much my car can yield for. The reason this thread intrigues me is that I find it very very difficult to sell my ride. I’ve grown too attached to it over the years, and I find myself unconciously sabotaging myself from selling it. It would be nice to get an unbiased opinion on the situation. ---

^^^ That is what starts most of this bickering. I’m not shitting on you, I would be in the same boat. What my car is worth to me is waaay more than it is worth to someone else. They weren’t there when I was pouring all of my blood sweat and tears into her. All they see is a car with parts and a suggested price of worth. And that is what you have to sell it as, just a car with some parts on it. If you go into it with that mentality, you should be able to figure out a fair price for it and not get shit on. ---

ps: sleepydopey, to give yourself a better chance of selling your car, you should really consider taking the 10 minutes and make up a proper FS thread instead of linking to last summers thread. Make a proper, easy to read thread. People don’t want to read a paragraph to find out what the car has on it. Make a list with different categories. Be to the point Sorry for the tangent. just a suggestion. and ps: imageshack sucks, I don’t even click on them anymore. ---

Photobucket? After reading through my FS thread…I see what you mean. But that’s how I unconsciously sabotage myself. I start writing about my car…and i get carried away. It’s even harder when it’s just sitting in my garage waiting for someone to pick it up. lol You guys must think I’m gay that I’m so attached to the ride haha but seriously, thanks for the slap in the face with reality check. Any other constructive criticism? Also, if I post another thread, wouldn’t it be frowned upon? I don’t want to take up the FS forum with just my postings you know? any suggestions? ---

i dont have a problem with people commenting on the prices of my parts if they do it respectfully. Mark made some comments in my Circuit sports turbo line thread… i was off on pricing… that’s my fault, i should have researched better before listing the price.
