Or if Bush caught the first one with cat-like reflexes and they both threw the shoes at each other simultaneously. Both shoes hit with perfection and they are both knocked unconscience. The shoes were actually bombs and blew up. The End.

I predict a skit where the secret service dives in front of the president to take the hit from the shoe (in slow motion of course), then someone is holding him in their arms as he passes away, with a tread mark on his cheek.

This is funny. A former agent commented ont he incedent

> “It is like playing zone defense,” Williams said. “Not all agents are going to rush that guy. Because they are trained to watch for diversion.”

#1 why did they guy throw the shoe? Did something provoke him?

#2 I heard the SS agents all voted for Obama

In Arab culture, it’s considered one of the worst insults to show someone the bottom of your foot or throw your shoe at them. The reporter is apparently not a very famous one and it was a good way to get publicity.
