# Shoe/Style Crew - Recommendations

I’ve been looking around lately and would like some suggestions.
Only stipulations would be:
Leather sole
Black (possibly Cordovan)
NO tassles
NO wingtip
NO cap toe
I’d prefer a nice slip on, but I’m open to ideas.

I use both of the shoes below (highly recommended, unless you ant something a lot fancier)

These are all very versatile and can be worn to work with dress pants and a polo or with jeans and a t-shirt. They look good IMO.

Ugh, don’t buy sketchers… Depending on how much you want to spend look at either Italian or English manufacturers. Kenneth Cole is crap IMHO and whatever you decide, be sure to buy a set of cedar shoe-trees to keep them nice.

i refuse to spend more than $100 on my work shoes… they never make it through a winter without getting shitty and I am not changing my shoes when i get in to work.
edit: i also don’t care that much… so that helps.

I know sketchers aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I like them. Reasonably priced, look good and feel great compared to a lot of other more expensive shoes I have had in the past. Not to mention they have lasted awhile.
