# Short notice, but want to do AKA Rally cheap?

Ok, so due to a variety of circumstances AKA Rally’s route this year has been drastically cut down. It’s now a “mini” event (this was just announced 3 days ago or I would’ve told you guys sooner), the entry fee was cut down from just over $4000 to $2500 per car. I can assure you this will be a fantastic event as usual and a good chance for you and your codriver to get into one of these events at a rock bottom price (see: Billy May’s here!). Here is the pertinent info:
AKA Rally 2009
July 31 - August 3
Savannah -\> Key West[SIZE=7]
[/SIZE]
Unofficial Pre-Rally: Philly -\> Savannah, July 29 - 30
Unofficial Post-Rally Party: Key West August 4 - 5
Unofficial Post-Rally: Key West -\> Philly August 6 - 7
The event cost is reduced to $2500.

We will be unofficially rallying to Savannah from the Philly area. We will also unofficially be spending a few extra nights in the southern Florida area (Key West, and then on to West Palm Beach).
We are very excited for this revised route, as it will allow for some even better events, restaurants, and venues. The deadline to register is Monday! We can be reached via email or this forum with questions: [info@akarally.com](mailto:info@akarally.com)

It’s $2500 per group of 2 people. So Willybeen could be your codriver and you would split the entry fee and both bring your bikes.

lol, i remember driving down that road in the keys and looking at all of the gaps on the other elevated hwy. tons of people riding bikes and stuff on it though.
anyways sounds like an awesome time, nice price break :tup:
