STFU stop ruining my plans. Im not going to lie and say i wont do crazy mods to a vette either but im going to try my best not to. I think alot of my issue is ive made it a long time without blowing anything up and well its going to happen soon i know it will. In Seattle i dont have anywhere to work on a car and i fear having to pay someone if/when i blow it up. This is alot of my logic on why ill drive around a vette then when i move back to b-lo where i am buying a house and would have somewhere to work on it. I would then build a more purpouse built f-body if i still am interested. But i really want to chase 9s stock bottomend and stock heads but this will be pushing my luck terribly. Im thinking sell it if i can get vette to cruise then 408+300 shot in a cheap ass high mile f-body later on. ---

Sell it. That’s a lot of money. You almost always take a huge hit when selling a modded car, and the 18K price ain’t much of a hit. It’s not like the mods you have sitting around are going to go to waste either. Huge market for selling parts if you need to. Also, in a year and a half when the '09 Camaro rolls out, what do you think the market will be like for a used 4th gen? They will be sub 10g’s for modded ones all day. ---

Sell it, dump the 18k in a good international growth mutual fund. 2 years from now have an extra 4-6k conservatively to play with. ---

eh to each their own. after having both a fast 4th gen fbod & then a c5, i’d rather have the f-bod back. But that’s me, you know? If it’s more important to you to have a higher-tech baller car, get the c5. Read up on their build flaws and plan ahead for them (cough column lock cough), then take the plunge if you must. First Im baller no matter what i drive. Second if i get a vette it will not be slow i dont do slow. Third if a bitch complains ill politley kick her out and call a different one. I dont want a FRC or ZO6 cause its pimp or baller i want it cause i would enjoy driving it more and i like the way they look better. Who buys cars to show off to people lol wtf. ---

sell it 18k is a lot of money. people have put about the same probably as you did and struggled for even 12k. ---
