I would personally keep it street legal, while at the same time turn it into a weekend warior (at the track). But what form of racing do you plan to compete in? And what exactly will you do to her to turn her into a ‘full fledge race car’? ---

thinking about GT Touring series, car wouldn’t be able to be street legal. No solo1 stuff or anything, that will happen for sure, before i make up my mind. edit: fully gutted, roll cage, bride seat, 1.5 way LSD, remove stereo, remove tints, race steering wheel, willans harness, 300zx rear brake upgrade and more aggressive brake pads, a rear wing, underbody aluminum panneling for areo and a front splitter ---

gutting your car wont make it illegal… this is Canada man, if you want to get into racing you have to buy a race car. e.g. monte carlo, camaro, mustang, etc… and strip it down. most racing wont allow you to use forced induction. ---

Ok, ty you need to look into racing series more closely. There are different series to race in such as Touring GT where there are tons of euro and japanese cars. Solo 1 is more like a hobby then a potential career I would start in solo 1 for sure but i’d like to go to something where I could have the room to grow if the skill was there. ---
