Yea got the front plate on also… hopefully Jonny Law will leave me alone. ---

Probably the same reason that I removed them, weight :tup: You should have just bought my car when it was fully modded, haha. ---

so you removed the seatbelts for weight, but you kept the rear wiper? Do you ever carry passengers in the back? Might as well have just bought a 2-seat sports car lol ---

Seriously like 3lbs…but the trunk liner another 1 to 3, the spare tire, tools and jack IDK like 10lbs… It all adds up. There is more to come like I said when the time is right. Next on the list is to remove the sound deadening tar under the back seat and buy a Bushur front cross member… Saves 6lbs… Like seriously! ---

AMS turbo back exhaust saves 20lbs over the stock Stock EVO exhaust, 60 pounds… ( I don’t have AMS but I’m sure its close ) Stock under tie bars with bolts, 2.5lbs BR battery kit, 17lbs - Stock is 37lbs I/C Spray bottle full, 11.5lbs BR intake, 4.1 less than stock (not installed yet) BR Seat lower brackets, saves 2lbs Stock EVO8 strut tower bar, 7.3lbs Trunk skin, 4.4lbs carbon fiber trunk, 11.9lbs Stock trunk lid with factory wing 28.8lbs So around 276.9lbs less then stock so far of the things I know about… Unless Mark wants to add to this. I have found a few more little things that will be removed soon. PS - There was a reason I had this in the Build section. ---

If you go that way let me know on porting. :tup: Nice work so far, you don’t have it as easy as a stock evo, lol. Some people don’t get the weight saving stuff, I just got a spare harness this weekend to make lighter. haha ---

What do you mean by I dont have it as easy as a stock Evo? B/c its already been gone thru? I’m more then happy with the power this car has. Once I get these few other parts on I will have it re tuned and see if there are any gains. As far as weight goes its just something I like to think about. I can live with a gutted trunk and no spare tire. I didn’t buy the car just to drive to work. I drive it, I work on it, I wash it and take care of it… I installed gauges so I can see what’s going on. Most times the radio if off just b/c Id rather hear the car. I like jacking the car up and rolling around on a creeper just to see what’s happening on the not so shinny side. Might sound a little weird to sum but I guess we are all in it for different reasons. My other car doesn’t have power anything, no radio, no carpet, no headliner. I can hear the fuel pump and every single ting and rattle and I love it. It’s more the mechanics then the convenience with that car. I’m lucky I can go from one to the other and I’m also lucky to have a g/f that doesn’t mind the car stuff. She got the WRX and keeps asking when she can turn the boost up. She might be a keeper! ---

So can I swap out manifolds with out removing the Turbo and down pipe? It looks to me like I can, the bolts to the turbo are on top and the only hard to get to nuts look like the bottom manifold ones. ---
