> I’m not quite sure what you would need a COP setup for. After seeing Cesna go mid 9’s on the stock motor, with the stock ignition, it just doesn’t seem like it would be needed until you’re going for DEEP into the 9’s.

True, definitely don’t need it. I could have bought a new set of wires for 45 or a used stock set up on EvoM for 80 to 100 bucks. I think I just like the idea of having 4 coils over 2!

Taken from [Spoolinup.com](http://Spoolinup.com) -
\* Handle 650+ HP, tested to 800whp
\* Plug-n-Play
\* Meant for Stock ECU
\* Gain HP/TQ (8-20 hp is the norm, mod dependent)
\* Greatly reduce or eliminate partial throttle cruise bucking
\* Better idle quality
\* Acclerates like a new car
\* Run more boost
\* 4 coils instead of 2
\* Hotter spark
\* Run more gap for better ignition
\* Plugs last longer due to less fouling
\* No wimpy spark plug wires to worry about
\* Plug changes take minutes less
\* Increased gas mileage (I get 1-2 mpg better mostly highway)
\* Lightest kit available at 2 lb 6 oz, 1/2 lb heavier than stock
\* No problem prone CDI Boxes
\* Looks great!
\* Non corrosive hardware will keep it looking great!
\* Beautiful Carbon Fiber mounting plate
\* Directions included
\* Tested on a running car
\* 6 Month Warranty

They actually have done this. There was a thread on evom over the summer with a guy that swapped in some k20 coils. Takes little fab.

You can also just press + when you are in the box, and it will change between 0 and 1.

Yeah but when you use the 0x0001 method It disables all the emissions stuff completely, rather then each box 1 by 1. Either way works though.

dropping the 0001 bomb into the periphery bits is the way to go, just make sure you set your monitors to ready also.

Right ok haven’t gotten to this part yet… But thanks! Once I get this back together I’m sure I will need some tech support

I’m looking into installing a slim fan also. Anyone know how much the stock fan weights vs. a typical slim fan? I still haven’t found the definitive wiring “how to” either…HELP Please!

About a 100 decisions to make when buying a slim fan - Amp draw, # of blades, Fan CFM, Pusher/puller, blade material? Any advise!

I want a lighter fan that takes up less room but works just as well if not better and doesn’t draw more amps then stock. I’m also thinking a pusher rather then puller so I can mount it between the FMIC and radiator and clean up the bay!

I have a puller type slim fan in my civic, it’s just two wires that I soldered to the factory two wire plug, if that makes sense. Basically cut the plug off the old fan and soldered it to the wires of the new fan… I wish it was a pusher and wasn’t in the bay but w/evs, it came with the car.

Well yes true on a Civic… I have a civic with a slim fan also, honda’s are easy lol. The Evo has a box on the fan which has 4 wires. I think the fan has variable speeds depending on conditions but thats just from reading stuff on EvoM and like every forum its not always easy to tell whats true vs opinion. I also read that the other 2 wires are connected to the A/C fan and they some how worked together before my A/C was removed.
