best Sicillian comes from places that make their own mozarella. Which around here I don’t think a single place does. Its all bagged pre processed stuff for like US Foods or Sysco ---

My family owns several pizzeria/restaurants. They are called La Bella’s. We are not affiliated with the la Bella’s in wynantskill, EG or CP so don’t confuse those for ours. Our places are located either in Valatie, Hudson, staten island, and 2 in manhattan. I work out of our Valatie store. We make thin crust brick oven NYC style pizza but we also make a Sicilian pie and another gourmet pie called a grandma pie which is like the Sicilian but not as thick and uses the fresh whole milk mozzerela cheese that you are referring to. We use only fresh ingredients, no canned crap. I promise you will love the pizza and it will be worh the trip if come down to try it. It’s about 30 min from Siena. Drive down i90 east and take exit 12. Last exit before tolls to mass pk. Address is 2967 us rt 9, Valatie ny 12184. We are in a hannaford plaza in the round-about. Come check us out. ---

the one of the owners of peasans makes a mean Sicilian but does not sell it because it takes more time to make than the traditional pizza. he puts the fresh mozz under the sauce! ---
