Stop knob hobbing, it’s bad habit and bad form. Make your shift and get your hands back on the wheel. 😛

But I agree…looks cool, but not functional. I always know what gear I’m in and really don’t need a big lit up display to remind me. Especially on the knob where I’m never going to look.
