domestic cars are shit. however my Ford truck is probably one of the best vehicles I’ve ever owned. They make one helluva truck. I think Ford really has a leg up on the rest of the domestics.
I know my brother has a few VWs, and he swears by them. But they are constantly breaking and I get stuck fixing them. Like just this morning I got a text from him stating his check light came on and the car smells like shit when its running. I want to tell him to fuck off and buy a honda, but hes my bro! So instead i said bring it over cause i have a scanner. This is at least a monthly thing with him. Last month it was brakes. Month before that it was something else. Ugh
I loved driving his 92 with a 2.slow swap… when it was driving and i wasn’t working on it.

I gotta agree with this. My 7.3 has never given me any problems ever. That thing has been beaten into the ground and still hauls 2 cars uphill at 65 mph.
The firebird is the same. I got it around the same time as the DSM. It’s been in the shop once for brakes vs the once a month downtime I have with the Talon.
