\<~~~ Squid

If it’s fucking hot out, I’m in a T-shirt. There’s no laws against it. Never without jeans, and never without gloves.

I’d rather promote “Don’t do stupid shit that will get you killed” than " Wear a jaket when you’re pulling a wheelie at 80mph on the expressway"

🙂

I go faster on my peddle-bicycle than my SV on the stop sign laden side-streets I take to school.

Actually, on my bicycle I tend to blow through stop signs and traffic lights with no helmet and certainly no leather.

So if you lived in Florida, you would’nt wear a helmet because there is no law? And you can refrain from doing stupid shit all day long but that won’t stop granny the ghostrider from slamming her Buick into you.

Most accidents are not the bikers fault dumbass.

In my opinion, shorts don’t make it more comfortable. Pants block all the heat your bike produces into reaching your ball sack, chode region.

But a jacket will save you from weeks of skin graphs.
I’m wearing my jacket and jeans to the beach today 🙂

You’re preaching to the wrong guy. We just did a motorcycle awareness yesterday that was on the news. I never said anything about a helmet, nor did I mention anything about Florida, I follow all the laws of NY, but hey, I can make shit up too.

Think about what you just said as well, despite what you do, it wont stop granny from slamming in to you. In that case, you can be riding naked and the bones are still going to break. In the mean time, while my balls are sweating, I’ll feel free to ride in a plain white in 90+ degree weather and add another 7,000 miles on a liter bike this year without incident.

Responsibility FTW

^ I’m sure you don’t don’t ride. In fact, I know you don’t.

The fact is many who preach about this stuff have and will again ride without gear. Nobody looks at someone on a Harley and a t shirt yelling Squid. They’re also not pulling wheelies and weaving in and out of traffic like tards.

I would be lying out my ass if I said I wear full leathers on a 90 degree day. Don’t fool yourselves, many people do, I’m not friggin blind.

Biased opinions 😃

Either way, I got too ahead of myself here. Was just trying to be realistic, not overbearing.

Dude, I get it. I sweat my balls off in my air conditioned car. Its hot out there for sure. ☹

I don’t have the balls/money to own a bike, but if I did I’d probably make the most comfortable decision for riding. If it was too hot to wear gear, I’d probably drive my car.

Umm, IMHO I’d take a broken bone over skin damage any day of the week. Bones heal fast, skin, not so much.

I do. Harleys can’t stop as fast, turn as hard, or get out of a bad situation, as fast as a sportbike. Cruiser riders without gear, are even bigger squids than a sportbike rider (who is behaving) without gear.

Wednesday I’ll be doing my best squid impersonation as I ride home a sportbike for a guy who has never ridden. I’ll be without my gloves and jacket, sold them :(. I hope he doesn’t live far.

yes people are retarded
just now I was leaving a store in tops plaza (niagara falls) and I see this guy and his average girlfriend getting off a bike.
it was a red n black kawasaki they had matching red helmets.
The guy was in jeans and a tshirt, the girl was in a tank top and shorts.
I said as they walked by " I would never ride in jeans in a tshirt"
And his smart ass said “then you would never ride”
I had half the nerve to turn around and clean his clock, But that I remember Darwanism, and it made me smile.
