just saw some kids on bikes almost get hit by an old lady in a van, infront of my house ---

I almost got hit on my bike (Bicycle) today, riding on the road is scarier than any trail I’ve found. ---

for sure. I used to ‘ghetto ride’ my bike alot but havent done it yet this year. Id ride into the ghetto area of Schenectady ---

Some people dont give a shit and dont even make an attempt to give you some space when they pass. Side note: I’m a fan of the “Get out of the road thats what sidewalks are for” comment I get at least once a year. ---

I know. I ride on the roads thru the ghetto and always have to avoid cars, especially at intersections. I normally ride on the sidewalk when there is one though. ---

i thought sidewalks were for walking… but who knows i might be wrong. i rather drive on the wrong side of the road when i see a person on a bike, instead of hit them and fk my car up. ---

Correct sideWALK, Its illegal to ride a bike on a sidewalk in most situations, also bikes have the same rights as a car on a road, and also have to obey the same rules as cars (obey signs/traffic devices use turn signals ect.) ---
