Well, he’s certainly proved himself at Champ Car, so a shot at F1 seems like a logical step. ---

Seabass thought he wasn’t going to get the shot. He was resigned to just staying in Champ Car for a while. This was a bit unexpected. You figure as long as he doesn’t totally tank this year’s Champ car season, he should be good to go. It will be interesting though because they are using the new Panoz chassis for the series, and teams took delivery YESTERDAY. All new chassis and development, everyone starts at square one. The Sebring tests (if there will be another round) will be interesting. ---

That’s exactly what I was looking for. I’d be happy if STR played around with the second seat this season giving randoms a chance to drive. A1GP, GP2, F3000, and former F1 drivers. That’d be the ideal situation, Red Bull isnt going for WDC or WCC with Coulthard, Weber or Tonio, so you might as well learn from it. ---
