I need to install a new waste gate on my redtop in my s13. It has a stock T25 turbo with all of the heatsheilding on it still. I am wondering if it is possible to change the wastegate without removing the turbo, or is there room to do it with the turbo in the car. I am just wondering for time reasons.

Thanks for any help,

Corey

the heat sheild did not have to come off. it took me about 1.5 hours to do, it was actually easy to do. The hardest part was taking off the clip that holds the rod on the actuator to the flap built into the back of the turbo. I ended up just vreaking it off as the new wastegate came with a new one. This was a very simple job.
