# Single turbo setup for my 3 rotor

I got a new custom made single turbo setup for the 3 rotor. The turbo is a dual ball bearing Innovative Turbo System GT80R. That thing is huge!!! I have a custom made stainles steel exhaust manifold, Innovative Indygate wastegate, and a 4 inch downpipe… yes, I did say 4 inch!.. I also have a ported intake manifold, 90mm throttle body, and custom made fuel rails on the way (I’ll post pics when they come). This setup can flow enough for 900hp. This turbo makes the 3 rotor engine look small, and since it is ball bearing it’ll spool pretty quick (especially with all the exhaust a 3 rotor makes 🙂 )

lol, its gonna be down for awhile. I still have to get the engine ported, dual oil coolers, intercooler, flywheel, and a clutch… but i’m out of money, haha. 8.1 crew… yes you can have that dollar, haha.

George Dodworth from the former Sevenspeed sold me the engine. I think he has been trying to sell it for awhile. I was going to go take some pics of the stock turbos and try sell them on the rx7 forum. They seem to be in really good condition.

those stock turbos wont bring in much money cause most ppl do with them what you did but you can try

yea, i know. Maybe I would be better off selling them on a cosmo forum. They only have like 50k on them and the housings look really clean, so I don’t think they were blowing any oil. It would be a shame to junk them.

:bigthumb: Nice new setup! What is the A/R on the exhaust side? That exhaust housing looks huge. :eek:
Also, you outta rotate your e/wastegate, cap off the exhaust re-direct and vent that baby to the atmosphere. 🆒:bigok:
