Believe it or not I went when I as 15.
My mom told the guys in Duanesburg I was 16, yes, she’s fucking crazy.
No bullshit.
The first time you go you only remember snap shots of leaving the plane and the freefall.
I went from 10k feet and remember MAYBE 5 seconds of the 30-45 second freefall. But once you pull the chute you remember all of it, unfortunately the thigh straps weren’t secured on the pads right so when we pulled the chute I was in agonizing pain for the 4-5 Minutes until we got to the ground.
It was a blast though for sure.

Done a few tandem and some static lines jumps myself. Absolute blast. Duanesburg Skydiving is a good establishment. so is Mowhawk.

You have to do like 10 static line jumps before they let you freefall by yourself lol
