Thought you guys over on that side of the pacific might be interested in some of the cars that attended a Show and Shine that we recently held. Bit of a short notice Show and Shine to celebrate our first anniversary of being an official Australian racing/motorsport recognised car club. Can’t have picked a better day, we had great weather, and a good turnout considering the leadup (or lack thereof), maybe 45 cars on display and a few others rolling in and out plus visitors. Was a good day, voting was done by the viewers and tallied up at the end of the day. The guys at J-Spec took 4 cars to the show, the VIP Lexus LS400/430 (Craig), the Sky80 (Ben), a 1993 R32 GTSt (Michael) and me with a J30 Maxmia with hydraulics 😃 We took home 2 out of 5 trophies, Michael for best R32 and Craig for best “non-line”. pics snapped by some of the guys: ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7524_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7524_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7484_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7484_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7431_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7431_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7562_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7562_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7477_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7477_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7479_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7479_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7548_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7548_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7516_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7516_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7532_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7532_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7506_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7506_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7492_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7492_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7467_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7467_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7490_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7490_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7486_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7486_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7488_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7488_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7489_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7489_.jpg) ![http://www.phreck.com/uploader/userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7468_.jpg](http://www.phreck.com/uploader/userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7468_.jpg) ![http://www.phreck.com/uploader/userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7469_.jpg](http://www.phreck.com/uploader/userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7469_.jpg) ![http://www.phreck.com/uploader/userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7470_.jpg](http://www.phreck.com/uploader/userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7470_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7447_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7447_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7448_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7448_.jpg) ![http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7446_.jpg](http://upload.phreck.com/./userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7446_.jpg) ![http://www.phreck.com/uploader/userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7504_.jpg](http://www.phreck.com/uploader/userfiles/tharaka/SAU/IMG_7504_.jpg) ![http://members.dodo.com.au/paul/pics/show-n-shine2005/IMGP0904.JPG](http://members.dodo.com.au/paul/pics/show-n-shine2005/IMGP0904.JPG) ![http://members.dodo.com.au/paul/pics/show-n-shine2005/IMGP0903.JPG](http://members.dodo.com.au/paul/pics/show-n-shine2005/IMGP0903.JPG) ![http://members.dodo.com.au/paul/pics/show-n-shine2005/IMGP0899.JPG](http://members.dodo.com.au/paul/pics/show-n-shine2005/IMGP0899.JPG) ![http://members.dodo.com.au/paul/pics/show-n-shine2005/IMGP0935.JPG](http://members.dodo.com.au/paul/pics/show-n-shine2005/IMGP0935.JPG) ![http://members.dodo.com.au/paul/pics/show-n-shine2005/IMGP0923.JPG](http://members.dodo.com.au/paul/pics/show-n-shine2005/IMGP0923.JPG) More pics are at: [http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=89590](http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=89590) and [http://members.dodo.com.au/paul/pics/show-n-shine2005/page\_01.htm](http://members.dodo.com.au/paul/pics/show-n-shine2005/page_01.htm) and [http://www.pbase.com/joelstrick/skylines\_australia\_club](http://www.pbase.com/joelstrick/skylines_australia_club) and [http://www.jamezilla.com/sau/index.html](http://www.jamezilla.com/sau/index.html) ---

Only a couple of the J-Spec Imports guys had the forethought of bringing a camera, so I didn’t take many pics myself… here’s what Craig got: ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0012.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0012.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0013.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0013.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0014.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0014.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0015.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0015.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0016.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0016.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0017.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0017.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0018.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0018.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0020.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0020.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0021.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0021.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0022.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0022.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0023.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0023.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0024.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0024.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0025.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0025.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0026.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0026.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0027.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0027.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0028.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0028.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0029.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0029.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0030.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0030.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0031.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0031.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0032.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0032.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0033.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0033.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0035.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0035.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0036.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0036.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0037.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0037.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0038.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0038.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0039.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0039.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0040.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0040.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0041.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0041.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0042.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0042.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0044.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0044.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0046.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0046.JPG) ![http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0047.JPG](http://www.superfunhappysliders.com/images/sau_2005-10-02/CIMG0047.JPG) ---

and some that Ben took: > [@J-Spec Ben](#): > > So many R33’s there, I was pretty surprised, and only maybe 5 R32’s… strange. > > Neato plenum > > The usual J-Spec bring-whatever’s-lying-around-at-the-moment effort, with the hydro Maxima, Michael’s R32 (brought in 3 years ago now at least), my Sky80 and Craig’s VIP Celsior > > Nothing maintains fluidic pressure like chocolate milk? > > Tidy… I like. > > Differences in roofline between R32 and S13 > > Made funky’s day. > > Trophy winners > > Worn with pride 😉 > > The Sky80 is actually mine, it’s supposed to be the track car but has only seen the track 3 times now and seems to be taking over the daily driver duties lately. Gotta get my automotive life back together and the nice cars out of the garage and onto the street where they belong ☹ ---
