vibrams are awesome. I really want a pair Soles aren’t too thick, but provide enough protection so that you can comfortably walk on just about any surface. ---

I think the soles are 2 or 3mm thick. I jumped off the end of the line (about 6 feet up) and landed on a bunch of broken glass w/ no ill effects. Pretty cool. ---

That one girl in the video, Emily Sukennik “purple shirt”, you can see her name in the beginning. She is my mom’s friend’s friend’s daughter lol. I remember a few weeks ago she was over our house showing pics of her two daughters slacklining and new she looked familiar. ---

I have a bunch of 3 & 4" ratchet straps from my father who drove truck for a living. they look just like that… Go to harbor freight or a truck supply shop and look up heavy ones and go find some trees. ---

Its probably a good way to learn, but I’m guessing they are made a different way to give the slack effect. Trucking straps are ment to keep things strapped down to the Flatbed and not allow for movement. ---
