Ok, got a question for you guys. I’m being forced (sorta) into buying new wheels and tires. Got a flat today in teh driver side front tire. Had it pluged, but the car needs to make it to buffalo in 3 weeks, so I need new tires. I was planning on buying 17" wheels later this summer, I have 16s now. Makes no sence to buy 16" tires now only to buy 17s later. Heres the question, I want the Rota Torque wheels, but I can only find them (for a good price) in 17x8 in my lug pattern. I’m going to need to roll my fenders to run those wheels. Can anyone around here trim/roll fenders for a decent price (or free)? Also open to suggestion of other wheels that look similar to the Rota Torques that will come in a 17x7.5.

EDIT: Nvm, 17x8 deff will not fit. Anyone know where I can get them in 17x7.5 or 7?

this site seems to have the best prices I’ve seen: [http://www.jlbmotorsports.com/rims/rota-list.html](http://www.jlbmotorsports.com/rims/rota-list.html)

Also thinking about the polished Slips or Polished Circuit 10s if I cant get the torques in 7.5.

I’m going 17, can’t change my mind on that. But…D2s do come in 17x7.5. Gold maybe?

EDIT: They are also cheaper.

16s are ill, but I want to fill the wheel wells with more wheel. That and you can’t get a decent tire in 215/45-16.

Also thinking of Enkei RPF1s in silver.

</div>

Well, just got off the phone with JVG, Enkei RPF1s in silver it is. Should be here wed.

EDIT: NVM! I guess the computer said they have them in stock but when Jon called they didnt. :sad

EDIT2: Ended up going with these: [http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=wheelCloseUp&wheelMake=O.Z.&wheelModel=Ultraleggera&wheelFinish=Gold+Painted](http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=wheelCloseUp&wheelMake=O.Z.&wheelModel=Ultraleggera&wheelFinish=Gold+Painted)

Little bit lighter then the RPF1s and a much similar style to what I wanted originally.

As long as nothing else bad happens to the car, then yes, I will be taking it to the meet this weekend. Give me a call sometime this week and we’ll figure everything out. PM’d you my number over on PreludePower

Haha, don’t worry, I don’t think I could pull off the pink on my car, so I’m not trying it.

Thanks. They were not my first choice, but to be honest, I didn’t kno they existed till after I found out I couldn’t get what I wanted in the time frame I have. I really like them tho, and they are super light to boot!

is there a difference between prelude trim modes. i talk to seamus today and told him that autozone car order them for like $41, i told him i could have orded it today and had it tomorrow but he said he’s call the one in schenectedy. i looked up one for a 92 s model though but i don’t see why they’d be different

Ended up ordering from the autozone on state street. Should be here this afternoon. I don’t think there is a difference between the trims, I’m pretty sure Synapse used the cable from the F22 that was in my car when they swapped the H duece duce in.

Thanks, car should be done and out tonight. _crosses fingers_

I haven’t forgotten about that header you have laying around, but I ran into some money issues (spending 1400 on wheels/tires was not planned). I’ll pick it up from you as soon as I’m out of the red, which shouldn’t be too long.
