We all know how awesome E-Z is at doing up cars :anal
So anyways my friend needed his cat taken out and I was meeting him at his house on the south end. He says that he wanted the cat cut out on his rx-7 and that he talked to someone not to be named at E-Z cause he was going to cut him a good deal.
Although I know lots of bad experiences with them, I decided to tag along to make sure he wasnt getting jacked cause I told him if its too expensive wait until next weekend and I can throw it on the lift for him and do it. No big deal.
We get there and after almost tripping over the cat who was licking its balls, unamed finally marches out through the door and starts asking what exactly he wants.
So after finally getting the point of simply removing a frigin catalytic converter cause its oh so difficult to understand, he says “Well ill give you a deal, I can probably do it for you for 480$” My reaction was immediately “That better be in YEN”. And anyways the worst part is he was trying to force him into putting a downpayment so he could make sure my friend could book an appointment and remember what they were going to even do on it??
Either way its probably not a big surprise to some of you but I sure LOL’d at that one. I just cant believe some of these people actually stay in business, its absoluetly insane.

wow, when i took mine out, cost me 60$ at some muffler place.
500$ should almost get you a brand new header back exhaust.
haha 400$, i hope you told him where to go.

haha i remamber old good days of having to go chinatown and watch kevin catch a smak or two across the face for selling someone’s sister a 300$ momo wheel which came up to 525$ after install and honk didn’t even work…ground effects zip tied to the chassis , no shrink wire on the wires and that’s a 200$ install.
go desro use hoist and the welder 20$ and cat is gone.
