girlfriends car. not doing much extreme, just making it stand out a little.
My R/T is getting a new motor hopefully before the end of June along with a new clutch kit, Koni+mopar springs or Ksport coilovers, and Maybe large cams.
then im done with it til i save enough money for a nice downpayment on a small house or townhouse… or an F-Body 😃
for the time being, we’ve been starting to toy with her car instead…
## 2006 Civic Ex coupe R18 1.8 ivtec
**_Mods_**
K&N drop-in
Apexi N1 muffler (installed at 1st Try)
tinted 20% all around (installed at First Bass)
2006 Si grille swap
Red Coated Calipers (noticed a 3hp gain! :D)
blue interior light in storage area in lower center console
6000K HID kit
Luminics JDM Yellow DRL/Highbeams
cleared taillights (Chrome bulbs)

rear lower valance paint flat black
Yellow OEM Fog lights
Cleared headlights
K&N Short ram intake
Chrome or Gunmetal 17" wheels
HFP sport suspension ( 1" lower but greatly improves handling )
Si Swaybars swap
HFP lip kit

still dont know what kind of wheels to get that are at a Reasonable price…
throw out some ideas.

to answer your question the tl wheels fit on the si which has a little different brake set up if any thing you might need a 3mm spacer to make them clear the calipers on the front (when installing si wheels on an ex you need a 3mm spacer on the front to clear the brake caliper)
and when i buy a new rear sway bar ill let you know if you want the stock one off my car ill sell it to you i should be getting a new on some time this summer
if you have any other questions let me know i know to much about this chasis civic already

ya i figured i’d need a spacer in the front for the TL wheels, along with the Si wheels…
i cant get a idea of how the TL wheels will look on the civic tho…

pass side HID is in, im finishing the driver’s side tomorrow morning.
HID’s are a damn night and day difference from the silverstars

new pics,
taken on my girl’s shitty digital camera…
their not that blue in person, i dunno why their so blue on cam.
the cutoff is great and their is VERY little glare or hotspots for a stock housing. im impressed… altho a projector retrofit would have been even better 🙂

i’ve heard nothing but good things from this person and their ebay store from [8thcivic.com](http://8thcivic.com)
he has like a 99% feedback rating and offers a 3 year warrenty on the HID kits! :bigthumb:
i’ll try to get pics of the HID shining on a wall from 20ft away later thursday night, we tried if with my girl’s cam and it turned out like shit

New pics of the HID’s and the new jdm yellow DRL’s and high beams (Luminics bulbs)
She’s always complaining about not being able to see at night… well not anymore lol.
the yellow highbeams work GREAT in fog!
EDIT:
New pics of it clean. (dont mind the pass side taillight and rear bumper lol, we still havent fixed her hit and run, by the end of the month it will be fixed)

when you said Si grill I thought you were going to keep the Si badge on it. especially when you showed the picture of the back end of an Si. I was like :eek3: that would have been retarded. When I return to the states there is this Auto Trans Civic with Si badges on grill and trunk I wanted to just rip the badges right off of the car. that would be like me putting Type-R badges on my car. It’s an Si close enough to a Type-R but no it would be wrong.

K&N SRI and rear valence will most likely be next
im havin too much fun messin with this thing that im not workin on the motor for the neon… 🙂
