What tire pressure were you using? I had the most luck with 28 PSI (hot). I have a hell of a lot more power than you do, and other than having to drive through the wheel hop, I don’t really have any problems. Are you still on the stock mounts like me? ---

Are you still on the stock mounts like me? i was on 25 PSI and i scrufed up the tires a little, i had no wheel hop, and yes im on stock mounts till i put Deyeme mounts in. my only problem at launching was staging and figureing out exactly how to feather the clutch out so i didnt spin nor chirp and bog down… i was trying to “shallow stage” most the time, but always pulled a little too far :doh: ---

man i wanna race, it looks fun. i wouldnt care if i ran a 15 flat my first few runs. ---

I know that your car is very different, but I just inch up until the stage light comes on, bring the revs up to 2500-3000 (do it by ear basically), then do a very quick slip of the clutch. I’ve never bogged a launch yet, but if I screw it up I wheel hop badly. 2.0 60’ on all season tires on a FWD isn’t too bad I don’t think ---
