since speeding is illeagal all cars should have restrictors that keep it below 70 drinking has no redeemable qualities, bring back prohibition smoking doesn’t either, ban that too motorcycles are too loud and there are alternative forms of transportation so ban that. while we’re at it, lets institute nationwide uniforms. choices=bad, the government knows what’s best for me! ---

Un-fucking-believeable! Is this what you REALLY want? I can just hear the fucking bitching pissing moaning and whining when some fucking busy body bug up there ass group comes after the car enthusiasts and performance companies. Take your pick, they don’t like: Loud exhaust Nitrous Forced induction (fill in the blank) I mean, after all, all this modifying of cars is just to make them faster and be able to speed, whichi s dangerous for (fill in the blank). Therefore, they need to be banned, since i don’t like them, and they are dangerous to my health. Government control is not a good thing. They WILL come for you sooner or later kiddies, it’s only a matter of time. Stop being so fucking selfish. There is no part of the US constitution(i have read it, have you?) that guarantees you the right to not be annoyed. The governemnt is not the solution. More laws are not the solution. I see some of the posts here and it scares me. WTF??? Stop voluntarily giving away freedoms! GRRRRRRRRR…sorry to come on so strong but this really pisses me off when i see this. This is simple. Either ban tobacco completely, or leave it the fuck alone. They will not ban it, becasue as politcians, they are a bunch of fucking hypocrites! They want the damn tax money! If smoking is so bad, then BAN IT COMPLETELY! BTW, before anyone starts on me, i do not smoke. But that should not matter. I think wasing my clothes and taking a shower after going out is a small price to pay to keep the governement out of another part of my liberty. ---

First off, Im a smoker. I know people who dont smoke, but smoke when they drink. Banning smoking in bars is like banning popcorn from the movie theaters. haha just my two cents. I can understand in restaraunts, but anywhere that serves alcohol …its stupid. ---

let the people speak. They should let the general public vote on this and whatever happens happens. I smoke but if a majority didn’t want it I would be considerate enough not to smoke in public, but it shouldn’t be the choice of a few politicians. ---

Most restaurants serve alcohol though, and generally have a bar of some type. You bring up a good point though. Not being able to smoke in a bar is just un-american. I really don’t see the problem with just having better segregation of smoking/non-smoking sections. ---

The people that would support a ban are one of the biggest things that piss me off about this country. No one has any respect or care about anyone other than themselves. I dont smoke, but you do. It bothers me, so I want to enact legislation that keeps you from mildly annoying me. If we start down that path, eventually everyone will be fucked out of something at the expense of others. Soon there will be no porn, no booze, no fast cars, no out of wedlock sex. It will be perfect. We’ll all be government mandated drones that are nice and prodictive for our corporate masters. :bowdown: ---

I AM A SMOKER!!! I got used to the ban in L.A., I’ll get used to it here. And I’ll still be addicted to nicotine. To be honest, when I was living out in CA, and came back home and went to a bar, and it was smoke filled, I could barely breathe! (richmond, va, capitol of phillip morris and rj reynolds, we went on field trips to phillip morris as kids to watch them make the cigs lol) Had to go outside to smoke 🤣 , living in Pgh now, I am used to smoke filled bars again. But hell, they did it in Ireland didn’t they? Pub on every corner, tons of pissed off smoking, drinking, irishmen, but they got over it…:dunno: Now tell me I can’t smoke on a street corner in the fresh air, or in my car, (if I did smoke in the cars, we don’t) and you have a problem. 🙂 ---
