There’s a lot of good points here. I have been smoking for 35 years. Long ago, it didn’t matter where you smoked, or even IF you smoked because the air pollution was so bad the cigarette smoke didn’t matter.
I agree that it stinks and causes problems for non-smokers. I don’t smoke in my house, nobody does. I go outside no matter how cold.
I have been patronizing the same bar for 28 years regularly. I have been smoking in that bar for 28 years. I have spent a TON of money in that bar. 90% of the people who frequent this bar have been going there for a long time and they also smoke. The owners and employees all smoke.
So, they are gonna ban smoking in a bar where almost everyone smokes? I have never heard a complaint from a no-smoker at this bar. My wife and daughter come to this bar with me on weekends. They are non-smokers. They never complain about the smoke.
So, if any of your non-smoking asses ever wants to come to Mike’s Place and bitch about the smoke: STAY THE FUCK OUT! :stick:
PS I throw my butts out the window too, have been for 35 years.

I’m sitting in my office at work in Kittanning, puffing away on a sensuous Marlboro Menthol Light as I type this. I sincerely hope that the smoke annoys the hell out of each and every one of my non-smoking co-workers.

I smoke. Have since I was 19-20. I quit for 6 months about a year and 1/2 ago when I was dating this girl. At first I didn’t think she smoked till she whipped out a pack of Newports at the bar. After that we both quit. I’m trying to quit again. I think it’s mostly nerves and stress. I hate smelling like smoke. I hate feeling like shit. Spending $5+/pack sucks. I don’t smoke in my car or inside the house. It’s especially difficult when in the garage working on cars or on a business trip traveling/working from 5am till 4am the next day.

🤣 Yeah I got a pack in my pocket right now! I dont smoke in my office… I could, but it seems kind of unprofessional… so I just go outside… but when its cold out / raining, ill go upstairs above the shop.
