Heres a little clue for you… I have 8000k HID’s on my car…they are bright ass blue… I dont have a front plate on my car, it doesnt even have a bracket… My tail lights are blacked out… I dont have cats on my car, so its loud as fuck which clearly isn’t avoidable around cops… even with all these very noticeable things, I havent been pulled over in 2 years. ---

I see nothing wrong with what the police officer did to you. You had illegal headlights, deal with it. He states, he hates the group that goes to the lot. That’s fine, he’s allowed to express his opinion. You need to understand the bullshit that police officers deal with day-in day-out; and too have to go to the lot every fucking weekend is absurd. What he said is not that off colored and I have witnessed worse and the people that got that end of the stick deserved it. ---

With all due respect, and I mean this, not like the officer… Writing this letter doesn’t and will not likely accomplish anything, except make you feel better. That, by nature, makes the letter self serving. It’s what they expect from todays youth and only further verifies some of their feelings. I do not think this is the way to lodge any type of complaint or concern, especially I would not admit likely breaking the law and being let go for it! You must always leave a name to be taken remotely serious . Thats my shiney quarter. ---

Your letter is going to do nothing, as previously said a few times in this thread. They will look at it and toss it most likely. Simple fact is, if you have flashy, attention grabbing shit on your car (obnoxious non-OEM HIDS(blue, purple, yellow, whatever)…PO’s are more likely to hassle you. I have a full caged, lowered, turbo Honda Civic with a straight 3" exhaust no cats, no mufflers, no resonators and I have never gotten hassled once about anything. I also for the past 2 weeks or so haven’t had a front plate. Now, I have OEM looking Silverstar white headlight bulbs, OEM taillights, no tint, subtle wheels…The car wouldn’t make an officer look twice. My old car, same thing. Stock headlights, stock taillights, no tint, nothing obnoxious that would grab a PO’s attention. I even ran no exhaust on a N/A K series for a few weeks and never got hassled. Colonie PD is probably one of the better PD’s in the area IMO. I hate when people say “they’re the worst”. Yeah sure, maybe to people like one of our own members “DUKE LADUKE” who got pulled over one time recently by CPD, kept his music turned semi-up when the officer approached the window and then wondered why he got an exhaust ticket…:facepalm :rofl ---
