I just got a call from one of the guys on my team with the new company. They’re doing an offsite this weekend down in Monterey for some “special ops” training. He said he wasn’t sure if it’s all hand-to-hand or weapons training or what, but he invited me along even though my start date isn’t 'til Aug 4th. Woo Woo!!!

Oh, and if you’re wondering why the flying f00k a software engineering company’s business dev team would be doing “special ops” training, well we have a military product. So our bd team spends a lot of time selling/training on the product out in the field w/ the military. My good buddy that got involved w/ the company is in Iraq right now in fact.
