# So I'm watching the WSOP tonight...

(World Series of Poker)

…and I see this guy who looks so familiar, but I can’t figure it out (he’s wearing sunglasses, which isn’t helping.)

So eventually he gets all-in, and takes his glasses off, and I’m shocked to see it was a kid I played with at Mountaineer.

After seeing the name, I Googled it and a bio came up, talking about him graduating from Pitt with a psych degree, playing at Mountaineer, blah blah blah. Apparently he moved to Vegas over the summer. The night I played with him was the night he graduated. He was playing so hyper-aggressive that I’m surprised he made it this far in the tournament.

Congrats to him (even though he’ll never see this.) I’m just surprised at the situation. Went to Vegas with 1k, and in a few months turned it into 436k. Must be nice 😃
