Been having some issues with the GTO lately and decided I needed to trade it now while I could still get some money out of it instead of waiting a year and getting the replacement I really wanted (S5 cabriolet). Wanted something nice that I could pay cash for the difference on to drive for the next year or two. After driving a couple I really liked the VW CC and found the color combo for the price I wanted in Cleveland. I’m officially over cars as a hobby. Happy with something that’s comfortable and a little fun to drive while spending my money on other things. ---

And no, no plans for a trailer hitch. Now that I have something my wife can actually drive all the towing needs will be handled by her CX-9. 🙂 ---

How was the gto up until recently? I always loved the interiors on them. What type of problems did you have with it? Nice pick up eitherway ---

Sport mode takes care of that but I find it holds gears a lot longer than I want. Guess if I wanted a car that would be in the exact gear I wanted at all times I should have bought another manual. ---

Does it have flappy paddles? I drive mine a lot in manual mode with the paddles. Once traffic starts to suck I put it in D and relax without having to clutch in 398470398470389 times on the way home. But I have a 22mile commute, not 5 or whatever. Dan ---

I did like the CC. For a while they were the only ones made in Germany and could tell the major differences in quality between the Passat and the CC even things like how well the trunk lining was done. ---
