There doesn’t need to be. I think the problem we have had the past few months trying to get a game together is not if we have enough tables or chairs, but if we have a place to fit hte people.

ya know whats weird is that i live 3 hours away but i know where this place is lol, everytime on the way back from the falls we stop in at bill grays and i believe this place is to the left of it?
as far as the poker law, my taking was that as long as the house doesn’t make any money from the game (charging entrance fee) they can hold tournaments

They can not sell anything either. If they use poker to make profit (ie. selling drinks) then its bad too.
You can not use poker to profit your business. You can only house the game and that is it.

Yea, the previous owner was a real idiot, hence getting in tons of trouble for everything he did. We will be doing everything legit and right!

We have been overhauling it the past couple weeks with cleaning/organizing etc etc. Lots of new artwork/memorabilia will be trickling in, and knowing my dad, it will NOT be a mess haha. And thanks man, I will keep you in mind for anything we need in that department. Thanks

This is in the works as well, he bought genuine chips and a bunch of accessories, working on the tables…

I would rather listen to a man fart through a slide whistle than even attempt to listen to those stations.
Get one of those muzak shits and put it on classic rock. 97 Rock and the Edge are two repetitive. You’d play a round of pool and hear Guns ‘N’ Roses probably 3 times before your done. Or AC/DC every other song.

UPDATE:
I know it is very short notice, but I am having a celebration GTG there tomorrow night, 3/3/09.
Anytime after 8pm.
There will be pizza/drinks (sorry, non-alcoholic ☹ ) shortly after that time. A lot of people I talked with today already committed, should be packed.
Please come and show some support, I’d like to give the place a good start!!!

At the pizzeria all you have to do is mention NYSpeed to get the 10% off if that helps at all.Also If you want I think I still have a rather large in at the SLA if ya want me to try to move it along faster.If it’s no big deal, that’s cool.
Also if that place does well,Sir Billiards in LKPT just closed because of bad management I guess.2nd location in the works?!!?!?!!?!?!

Awesome! Where’s your pizzeria again? Im a northtowns n00b… If it’s reasonably near by, I will go through you :tup:
I heard about Sir Billiards closing tonight actually, something to think about in the future for sure :tup:
I just got back from the hall tonight, 9 ball tourney was busy and all but two tables were filled, even after it ended. Deff generating a lot of traffic already 🙂

OMFG I used to love playing pool there, then it died out and wasn’t worth the travel anymore and I just shoot at classic cue when in town. I’ll be checking it out when I get back into town for sure.
Those 9ft diamond pros were always in great shape- how are they now?
