I \<3 my Shoei RF1000 helmet. It’s super comfy, quiet, and not ridiculously heavy. I also don’t feel like a damn bobblehead when I wear it. My joe rocket gloves are alright… I wish I got leather ones though.

Harley Davidson Bones edition jacket, Harley Davidson t shirt, Harley Davidson socks, harley davidson boots, harley davidson pre tied doo rag, harley davidson chaps, harley davidson underwear, harley davidson sunglasses, harley davidson fingerless gloves, harley davidson helmet (with tons of bad ass stickers to let everyone know how against the grain you are) harley davidson coffee mug, harley davidson leather condoms so when you pick up the harley chicks you can’t feel shit when fucking those leathery snatches oh and get some harley davidson 20w50 so it slides right in.
Get the picture. Go buy a costume, so you can look as cool as half the doctors and lawyers that don’t have a fucking clue.
On a serious note,
I wear a Shoei RF1000 helmet, nylon jacket with liner and padding, boots if possible something that has ankle support, doesn’t have to be riding boots but can’t hurt. Gloves… I have regular alpinestar gloves with knuckle protection but gauntlets are nice to keep your wrists from getting fucked up as they tuck over the jacket sleeves. If you go down they jacket arms can move up and expose your skin. Personally I would like a good leather jacket with padding but I dont’ have the money for it right now and everything I find I think is shit.

claimed aerodynamics at high speeds. i notice nothing at 80+ mph. supposedly cheaper helmets get a lot of movement at those speeds. shoei wind tunnel tests their helmets and they say it does a lot with aerodynamics.
unfortunately, it’s my first helmet, so i only have what i’ve read about helmets to base it off of. also, it’s rare i do those kinds of speeds as i ride like a girl.

the spoiler on the rf1000 helps prevent lift and helps to reduce helmet shake at high speeds…
at least thats what shoei says, it works at high speeds fairly well

+1 for the shoei rf1000. way better than my rf800 and hjc. great helmet for the price, less wind noise than a lot of arais
i prefer the alpinestars gp pro or gp plus gloves, i have both and they feel the same, just different material on the knuckles. i have the alpinestars gp plus boots as well, so f’ing comfortable i stopped bringing a change of shoes when I rode to UB.
perforated leather jacket recommended, but towards the end I stopped commuting and only cruised so it was full suit or nothing. i highly recommend a full suit or at least pants with a 360 degree zipper, you’ll quickly get an itch to scrape that knee

Nolan N-102 Modular, and i wear a bunch of jackets on the supermoto, depending if it’s raining, hot/cold ect… i wear Kilm pants, and Alpinestars boots b/c you’re going to feel like a real fggt when you start sliding in jeans and break both your ankles in skate shoes.
