It’s my understanding the hardware has been around for some time, but the software is developing more as of late. Honda had this walking thing ages ago, now it jumps… and grooves to Party Rock i guess.

The walkable version was out years ago. I think this one is self learning and actually a step forward to robots doing services for it. When these things go on sale, I may actually be able to find an intelligent girlfriend who isn’t annoying.
