# SOHC -\> SR swap, lower harness?

Hey guys, i’ve been working on a swap for a long time now. The car is just about ready to go out on the road but my speedometer isn’t working. I’ve tried 3 different clusters neither work. I pulled my speed sensor out and test it. It appears to be in working order. As I spin the gear it gives about 200 ohms resistance and beeps constantly to alert or continuity. I also creates an AC voltage up to 2Volts (Can’t manually spin it any faster).

I am really stumped and can’t figure this out, the only possible thing I can think is that my lower harness wiring is wrong. I went from a KA24E to an SR. I just used the SR lower harness since it appeared to plug into all the plugs just fine. For you guys who went from SOHC -\> SR which tranny harness did you use? Anyone else have any tips on getting this thing going?

Use the KA lower harness dude, the SR ones the plugs may fit however the plugs dont correspond correctly at the chassis!

use the KA lower harness splice the starter solenoid wire from the SR lower harness

Thanks. Now I have to try and look for a KA harness, this should be fun.
