# sohc to dohc question

hi, i’m just finishing my swap and i am wondering why my dohc engine harness has a lot more wires than my sohc at the body harness connector. i am thinking it’s because my '90 is a base model, no options except a/c and the '92 that i got the harness from is fully loaded. is this right? do any of these extra wires matter? (i haven’t soldered on the new body harness connector yet so i don’t know if they’re going to cause any problems with it running.

alright, i tried to hook it up anyway and those extra wires do nothing for some reason. so it works now, sohc automatic to dohc 5 speed isn’t actually that hard of a swap.
