# sohc to dohc wiring ( urgent please )

The swap have been completed and the wiring harness is in , I just have a question .
When the harness get int eh car , they are 3 connectors , diode , ecm , dash harness .
The connector between the firewall and the ECM , not the under dash harness ( took care of that 1 already by hacking the 6 wires ) , It’s refer to diode on page 950 of the e-service manual .
The connectors are different and I am unable to plug in . DO I also need to swap this connector or just leave it unplug .
The car is not starting right now and I am not sure if its related

You seem to have much more wires then I had. DOHC engine harness in a SOHC body harness I presume. All mine needed was a quick matching of the wires that I had my friend do. Cause he enjoys that stuff. If the wires don’t match then theyre not needed. You won’t be able to diagnos the car I believe although I havent tried to yet.
This is all done at the ECU.
