 hopefully you’ll hit that 150 trap this year.

Any progress on the cage “expansion” project?

This is a question not a critique…

On a car that is used that hard why would you weld up a old rusty subframe, when you can/should replace it? I would think that it would be a fairly straight forward to swap out a new/used one without rust… Maybe even weld on some gussets to make it stronger? Or did you weld on some gussets that you didn’t show in the post?

The risk of something like that breaking when you are running it full out down the strip and it breaking like that again… I think could be catastrophic?

Keep ripping it up!

The subframe was welded up and reinstalled in order to do burnouts at the nyspeed meet. the car had not moved since then. I have a new subframe sitting on the floor ready to go, and I’m contemplating building a custom subframe. And a torn subframe isnt catastrophic, just annoying and causes other drive train to break.

I’m too lazy to reread this whole thread, but are those numbers with a gt35? and a slightly thicker head gasket only? The rest stock? That’s a ton of power for that M52. Awesome!

i know where theres a subframe with the reinforcement mounts already welded on, and its powdercoated…as far as i know it has yet to be bolted onto a car and might be forsale
