Good choices. I would experiment more with pointNshoot before joining DSLR world.

It’s better to have fantastic angles/shots/locations/prep and theme for a shot that will be hindered by camera quality, than having a great camera without having angles/shots/locations/prep etc…

I’m personally biased towards Canons but you can’t go wrong with a N60 either.
