ls1 engine is really a good engine all around, great economy great power, and put a little boost on it and your making more than a cobra ---

I have seen LSX motors in Cobra’s but not charged. I have seen a twin turbo SHO V6 in a Cobra at Carlise Fairgrounds but I cant find any pics. I love Cobra Replicas no matter what is in them. My ex girlfriends dad has a Factory 5 replica with a 03 Mach 1 Drivetrain in it and it sounds sick! ---

427 was a joke shitty motor couldnt spool it up unreliable at best if anything at all do a 460 a lot better of a motor…but its stilla ford ---

Ford sold them via the parts counter, the single four-barrel model as part C6AE-6007-363S, the dual carburetor model as part C6AE-6007-359J NASCAR effectively legislated the SOHC engine out of competition through rule changes, and the awaited 1965 Ford SOHC vs. Chrysler Hemi competition at the Daytona 500 season opener never occurred. This was the only engine ever banned from NASCAR.
