A casino is a great way to tax people who suck at math and probability.

And NYS got a much larger check that 12 million. NF only gets 1/4th the state’s share.

I see the arguement of “It’s all local dollars” all the time. I can make that arguement against any business you want to put in WNY though. Bass Pro will be people spending local dollars. A new restaurant is local dollars. All those people buying Sabres tickets are local dollars. Giving people options of where to spend there money is never a bad thing, unless you’re against capitalism. If that’s the case, you obviously love Buffalo the way it is and you’re part of the problem, not the solution.
