Had a car last week fail inspection due to tint not allowing 75% of light in. Saw the meter reading. Had a customer’s car fail inspection last week as well. Dropped a car off today at a glass shop for tint removal, shop said a friend’s shop was busted by the state for passing a car for inspection with illegal window tint. This will get pricey for me since all of my cars come from the south and often have tint. Ah well ---

This has been discussed in the other thread. I think they will fail you if the windows are inoperable while down thus not allowing them to test. On a completely different note, how much do shops charge for removal? Per window price? ---
