The new mill is expected to pump out 430 horsepower, and the '08 Vette will also sport new 5-spoke wheels and interior tweaks, among other things. We’ll have to wait until the weekend for the full dog & pony show to go down, but one thing’s certain: the presence of 430 standard horsepower will only further cement the Corvette’s standing as an unbelievable performance value. The LS3 is pretty old news at this point. But it’s still cool. I understand it’s going to have L92 style heads, so the power potential w/ a set of headers and a cam is pretty huge. The porno red isn’t new though, my buddy’s '07 has that (white exterior over that same interior). It looks a LOT better in person, but still is TOTALLY not for me. -TJ ---

son of a bitch! I just moved here last week from Clarksville, TN… which is like a 45 mins. drive from the ole corvette museum. I would have delayed moving to go and see that. So if this one is coming out… what ever happened to the Z06R (aka Blue devil, SS, stingray, w/e the rumor is now that they are calling it) ---

the red interior is hideous. i dunno if i like the wheels or not. the car is just so luxory anymore, i dunno if i like it yet. I love the Z but the normal c6 looks weak to me, stock atleast. some agressive wheels with a lip really make it better for me, but i still prefer the c5 styling. the motor is def badass tho. ---

i hate vette wheels from C5 and up, except Z06s. the spokes are too damn narrow, if the rotors were a bit bigger in the back it wouldnt be so bad, but damn, the are so ugly. and dont get me started on the wagon wheels. ---

5 years is about normal anymore for a car run, they can design them a lot faster because of computer technology now. Also, I think the C4 alomst killed the vette because it lasted ~13 years (They weren’t selling good at the end, but the C5 fixed that!)
