# Son240sx Skii/Snowboard

So my friend and I have the itch to go snowboarding, bought all our gear and ready to hit the slopes.
Hopefully this will get big like the Go kart and Hockey event.
I narrowed down the potential park to Glen Eden, Horseshoe Valley, Blue Mountain and Snow Valley.
I plan to go maybe next week or after Christmas.

snowboarding sucks i tried it last year i fliped like 10 times going down the hill and then traded the snowboard and went skiing skiing is much more funner and easier. but i reccommend sticking with the hills uno u can make it down on, i went on the steepest hill and had some serious air time, made it alive though.

If you guys hit up Blue some Sunday im down with that. I’ll have to rent skiies though, mine are like 8 yrs old and still florecent! I can’t snowboard worth a shit. Tried one day and I was on my ass for most of it.

same here, some people can, some just can’t. You have much more control on skies than on snowboard… although snowboard looks kinda cooler

once you actually practice with the board it becomes a lot more fun then skiing. i suck ass but i love every minute of it. skiing is too unilateral for me.

Snowboarding is not something you can hop on and be pro at in a hour or two. It takes seasons to get decently good, atleast 2 years before your hitting and landing jumps.
Ryan that’s a great taboozaning hill 🙂 I used to go there 2-3 times a week at night and walk up and board down. Is the big jump on the far right slope built?

no not yet Devin, but there is a very Tiny mound for you to go off.

true i went snowboarding for the first time last year, i will be sticking to the kiddie hill a little bit longer. 🙂

i tried to snow board like 10 years ago and failed epicly.
ill give skiing a try for the frist time tho.
by the way, whos down to rent a hotel the night before? i dont want to meet you fools anywhere at like 8am.

x43255 Started about 8 years ago and still there is always sooo much to learn when it comes to riding, don’t give up so fast it’s worth it.
