# SON's Fastest?

Who is the fastest on SON… 1/4 mile and top speed… now I know not everyone DOES 1/4 or TS but still… those who do have cars built for drag, should at least know how fast they are.
So post up some bragging rights.

i know i am not the fastest but i posted a flat 14 this summer… it was my first time out on the track ever… man did i ever botch up a few stages…lol
we should have an “arms race” this year.
see who can post the highest times.
there has been alot of cars under construction this year, hopefully we will see most of them ready to go this year.
i hope to hit mid to high 13’s this summer without touching the turbo… but if i do well and get a good job or something then i will likely do the T28 / Z32 mafs / 550cc injector thingy and push for low 13’s or high 12’s

I don’t condone street racing… I think cayuga would be the best… then you can establish an ACTUAL time.

Bing with a stock turbo you should be able to do high 12s low 13s and with a t28 and 550s you should be low to mid 12s.

I might be off on this but by arms race I think bing means simply rung what ya brung at the strip.
In otherwords, no bullshit excuses. You run what you run and that’s that.

i meant it like what spd-dmn said.
street racing is ghey… there are so many variables that come into play and the winner is subjective anyways. not to mention the illegailties and the risk.
the strip is safe®, regulated and you get accurate measures of your speed and time… there is no arguing the facts.
scott, ideally yes you can get low 13’s with stock turbo, there is a guy on [zilvia.net](http://zilvia.net) running 12.85 with stock turbo and injectors… but you and i wont.
i think with a bit of practice and a few minor massagings i can get my car to do mid 13’s.

Hahahahhaaaaaaa… killer
spd’s official prediction for fastest 240 driven to and **away from** the track is… 12.88@… let’s say 106ish trap speed.
This is for the first 1/4 meet… the beginning of the season. I -hope- the times drop by the end of the season!
Cayuga opens what, mid-April? Who’s up to the challenge?

I ran a 14.3 @ 97mph at 5 psi with a turbo that seemed to be falling off the manifold and i was running stock computer as well. By spring i will have the stand alone back in and boost turnned up so I expect to hit the low 13’s.

I never ran but i should of been in the 13’s. Was a 7psi making 213hp.
