i’ve never bottomed out but the roof is about 4 inches above my hip. i tend to just avoid speedbumps, but my suspension travel is so small that its not really a problem.

WHY, why does it require a car to be ’ americanized’ to be a street machine? this is just plain stupid, just becuse the drag racing rednecks don’t want to understand control and handling dosen’t mean that it shouldn’t be there… and last time I look, ‘streets’ had turns and corners and hills and all sorts of neat stuff that wasn’t 1/2 mile of straight flat road.

Man, this forum needs a “How To: Reading Comprehension”
Street Machine is a TERM. Just like Pro Street, Rail dragster, Ricer, .
In NHRA/IHRA there are classes that involve the name “street”
Pro Street
EZ Street
Street Machine is a term for cars that are not pro street - drag racing’s version of ricers. Guys who stick giant 6-71 blowers on parade cars. It used to be cool, but then people just made these cars for the image, and the sleeper/Gmachine trend hit.
They (musclecar/drag race media) stopped calling cars “Pro Street” once it became a negative term. Now cars are called Street Machines.
A blown Iroc would likely be considered a Street Machine. A 240 would not, UNLESS SOMEONE SWAPPED A V8 INTO IT. Otherwise it would be considered an Import Dragster - if it is built for 1/4 mile.
If you bothered reading before throwing a simian fit you might actually understand what’s being said.
